The Brain Injury Association of Washington (BIAWA) envisions a world where every person already affected by the impact of brain injury benefits from resources that maximize his/her quality of life. Our Academic Scholarship program is an important part of our continued efforts to actualize this vision.
The BIAWA awards scholarships in three categories: two scholarships for full time or part time students with Brain Injury, one each in Eastern and Western Washington, and one scholarship to an individual pursuing a higher degree. Scholarships are in the amount of $1,000.00, pro-rated for part time students based on credit load. Click Here to view applicant qualifications, requirements, and details on how to apply. The deadline to apply for the 2013/2014 Academic Year is June 30th, 2013.
Please share this information with Brain Injury survivors and the professionals that care for them. We look forward to receiving applications and wish all applicants the best of luck!
