Island Life”– Creating fun and adventure while dodging sharks.

For children and adolescents: Meet other children and young people living with brain injury. Open to children, youth, siblings, and friends ages 5-17. Camp Korey creates an experience that contains the same exciting possibilities as summer camp – joy, creativity, and good people! With one group for younger children and one group for teenagers, Camp Korey counselors will facilitate an intrepid scavenger hunt, inspired art, chill-out time, and group games for everyone.

For parents and caregivers:Meet other parents of children with brain injuries, as well as with members of the Seattle Children’s Rehabilitation Medicine Team, HeadStrong, and Brain Injury Alliance of WA. This month, Janet Novinger, Explorations Consulting, will work with our parent group on self-care and strengthening resilience –two critical topics for caregivers. This will be an inspiring and energizing afternoon!

Refreshments will be served.

Please RSVP as space is limited.
