Seattle Children’s Hospital, Sound Cafe’, Whale 5th Floor

Join us for a presentation by a representative from the Office of the Education Ombudsman (OEO) as they provide suggestions to  parents on how to best advocate for their children’s needs within the school system.  OEO resolves complaints, disputes and problems between families and elementary and secondary public schools in all areas that affect student learning.  Parents and caregivers will have opportunity to share their own stories, ask questions, and get direct advice from OEO.
For children and adolescents: “Fall Fun”  – A place to meet other survivors of brain injury and to participate in an organized recreational activity, celebrating the arrival of fall.  Activities are available for ages 5-21. Siblings are welcome.
Please RSVP as space is limited. Parking is available in the Whale Parking Lot and is free of charge. Childcare will be available for children under 5 years of age. Please specify the number of children who will require childcare and their ages when you RSVP.
