Outdoors for All Opens Adaptive Cycling Center!

Outdoors for All has opened a new adaptive cycling center this summer at Magnuson Park. We have a wide range of adaptive cycles including adult tricycles, recumbents, therapy bikes, hand cycles, and tandems. Individuals with disabilities and their families can come to our Magnuson Park office in Seattle on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 10 am – 5 pm to enjoy the fun of adaptive cycling. Cycles are available for use in Magnuson Park as well as the Burke Gilman Trail.

Our rates range from $15 – $20/hour to $40 – $50/day. We also have a seasons pass program for $100. Our program is focused more on individuals who are independent or who would bring a friend to accompany them if they need support while pedaling. If an individual is interested in trying out bicycling for the first time they can set up a bike fitting session with one of our recreation therapist to see what bikes will best fit their needs. We kindly request a 48 hour notice before coming to the drop-in center to ensure we have the right bike for you.

If you know of anyone who may be interested in participating, please let them know about our cycling program. If you have any questions regarding this program please feel free to contact me.
